But not for Van Heck. With over 50 years of experience in pumping water by any means necessary, Van Heck has become an international market leader. The best innovative, sustainable project-specific solution is always chosen together with the customer.
Whether it involves emergencies, making emergency plans in advance or long-planned renovations, Van Heck jumps in at lightning speed to meet the customer's needs. Like the pumping station of a water board, which needed a temporary pump installation quickly due to an emergency. Van Heck's engineers were quickly on site and, thanks to the emergency plan designed earlier, work could start immediately. So Van Heck laid the driving plates, arranged for a crane and four trucks left with two pumps and the necessary piping so that the engineers could immediately start building the temporary pump installation. Also during the renovation of the Spijksterpompen pumping station, the investment in an emergency plan designed earlier by Van Heck paid off in this way. Anticipation, fast and efficient work resulting in time and cost savings.

Builders of offshore wind farms also know where to find Van Heck. For example, the company is making an important contribution to the world's largest inland wind farm: 89 wind turbines are being installed in the IJsselmeer. Van Heck's pumps provide sufficient high pressure so that the spray lance slides easily through the bottom (jetting) and the necessary cabling for the wind turbines can be laid in the gutter thus created. Van Heck's most powerful pump (incidentally the most powerful in the world), feels at home in offshore cable laying, both close to home in the North Sea and off the North American coast, the Mediterranean and in Bahrain. For the foundation of wind turbines, the pumps also offer solutions. For example, a clever solution was devised for a project in the Baltic Sea, where silt had to be removed quickly and with great force when vibrating monopiles. The client was very pleased with this ingenious and reliable solution.
Using lightning-fast engineering and execution, Van Heck also offers suitable solutions for siphoning projects. The rental fleet has a siphon construction up to Ø1000, but for a project in Oberhausen, Van Heck developed and built a brand new Ø1200 siphon installation. Needless to say: Van Heck helps and assists with every issue in the field of water management.
