For decades, Bunnik Verhuur en Grondverzet has contributed to the most diverse projects in the Netherlands. From small-scale construction sites to large-scale infrastructure works: wherever reliability and craftsmanship are required, you will find equipment and people from Bunnik Rental and Earthmoving.
Bunnik Rental and Earthmoving is a total supplier for contractors in the infrastructure sector. Trench shoring, drainage and dirty water pumps, compaction equipment, sewer containers, as well as wheel dumpers, midi- and mobile cranes, road plates and even lighting. The family business rents almost everything, including operation if desired. “A contractor does not have to go to three companies, but finds everything under one roof with us,” says manager Perry Bunnik.

And speaking of service, after nearly four decades of loyal service, Arnold Zwanenburg recently retired from the family business. “For many relations Arnold is a familiar face, a man who has mastered his trade to perfection and who is always ready. On Saturdays he was also often in the workshop tinkering. Truly someone who lives for the trade. If you could clone him, you would,” Bunnik says with a laugh. “When I was growing up, Arnold was already walking around the workshop. He's always been there. His machine, now 16 years old with over 30,000 hours of operation, is almost as much of an icon as Arnold himself.”
That loyalty is also reflected in the way Bunnik Verhuur en Grondverzet works with its clients. Projects are carefully prepared and executed, often with an impressive arsenal of equipment. “For a project on the Maasvlakte, we recently delivered 25 light trucks. In the dark months, these ensure safe and efficient working conditions. All machines are equipped with modern Stage V engines, making them environmentally friendly and reliable, even under tough conditions,” according to Bunnik.

Another project where Bunnik Verhuur is active is in the construction of a new distribution center in Lelystad. According to the manager, it's almost a village in itself, that's how big the floor plan is. “Here a total of 25 Stage V well pumps run day and night to keep the construction dry and stable. With such numbers, every pump, every detail counts.” Similarly, at the new Weespersluis residential development, Bunnik Verhuur's twelve perfectly positioned pumps ensured that the shoring for the new main ditch could be installed in the dry. “The guys could walk on their socks at the bottom of the moat,” said a proud Bunnik. “That's exactly how we want it done: neat, safe and effective.”
In all these projects, not only technology plays a role, but also the people behind it, according to Bunnik. “Engineers who tinker on Saturdays, machinists who know their machines better than their cars, and teams who trust each other blindly. That is the strength of our company. We work with people who know what they're doing, and they do it with heart and soul.”
