On to the 10th anniversary

On January 7, 2025, High 5 Solutions will celebrate its 10th anniversary. A beautiful milestone that will certainly include a festive look back at a decade full of innovation, sustainable growth and many impressive projects. High 5 Solutions' success is due to our often returning clients, regular partners and suppliers, but especially to our dedicated team of employees. With our team we have been able to develop the sonic drilling technique in the application of grout anchors and anchor piles into an accepted and proven technique. A technique with many advantages that we have believed in from the beginning of our existence.

Sonically drilled anchors

In almost ten years we have had the opportunity to work on many beautiful projects, both in the Netherlands and far beyond. Parking garage Tournooiveld in The Hague, the parking garage for the Atrium building in Amsterdam and also the dike improvement at Eemdijk were the first projects where our sonically drilled anchors were applied. Soon it also crossed national borders with a project in Hamburg, Liverpool and the East Strand Project in London. On the latter project, anchors specially developed and tested by us were supplied and installed on behalf of Gebr. van 't Hek. 

High 5 Solutions is now a well-known player in the market and we are often visible on large infrastructure projects. The Maas Delta Tunnel, Dijkversterking Tiel-Waardenburg, Zuidasdok and the deepening of the A9 near Badhoevedorp are just a few of the many infrastructure projects. The Dutch ports and waterways are also locations where we are frequently at work. The HES Hartel Tank Terminal, Kade Het Nieuwe Werk in Den Helder and the cruise terminal in Harlingen are a few examples. 

In addition to several great projects, we are also proud of several other milestones, including certification in VCA, ISO9001 and step 3 on the Safety Culture Ladder. For us, these are important pillars on which our core values of safety and quality lean. In addition, in 2020, we moved into an entirely newly built company building, completely in line with our style and identity.

Looking to the future - underwater anchoring

In the coming years, we will continue to develop and innovate as a company. Major themes here are, of course, sustainability and emission-free construction. With a combination of our sonic drilling technology, anchoring equipment and grout mortar, we can already often offer a more sustainable total solution compared to other market players. With our small electric drill we can perform our work emission-free. For the larger machines, we closely follow technological developments in order to take the next step in the right way.

We are also working hard on the sustainability issue in other areas. Reusing anchor material after we sonically remove this 100% is one example. 

Another example is underwater anchoring. This year we signed a framework agreement with the Port of Rotterdam Authority after successfully completing an innovation project. We believe that anchoring existing as well as new structures under water level can lead to great benefits. The lifespan of a structure is extended and new, lighter structures can be built. For almost 10 years we have enjoyed working on many different projects together with our clients. In view of all future developments, we will also make maximum efforts in the coming years to grow as an organization and thus remain of value to our clients. We always do this with our most important values in mind: safety, quality and fun!
