Unburdening the customer has been HKV's mission since 1975. Over the years, the company has become known primarily as a supplier of industrial clothing, but it now does much more than that. In the year 2024, HKV will no longer stop at a shirt or overall. You can also turn to the wholesaler for tools, personal protective equipment, road signage and advertising & signage. "We make sure that an employee leaves us fully dressed and with a well-stocked and stickered bus," says marketer Sjors de Jong.
7At HKV, they value honest advice. After all, the requirements for safety clothing and personal protective equipment are getting higher and higher. "That's why it's all the more important to know that your people are wearing protection in the right way and have received the right advice to go with it," Sjors said.
"In addition, we closely respond to current events and keep a keen eye on the sustainability aspect. For example, we work with Gaia & CFA Circular, a partner that recycles old clothes and shoes into new products and raw materials."
HKV's road signage package is broad and diverse. When it comes to road marking materials, traffic cones, street furniture, traffic columns, traffic mirrors and traffic signs made of environmentally friendly rice husk, HKV is a welcome partner. One that understands that sometimes customers need road markings on site in a hurry and is able to move quickly. "For us, this is daily business," Sjors explains. "This is where our strength lies. We understand our customers in the infrastructure sector all too well and know that sometimes something is needed immediately. We then act accordingly."
Thanks to its own advertising & sign department, HKV can service customers from a to z. "Whether it's vehicle lettering, facade advertising, flags and hoardings, internal advertising or signage: you can come to us for the complete package, from design to realization," says Sjors. "We take the entire process out of your hands, so the customer doesn't have to worry about it and knows it will be done right." This is provided by an enthusiastic team of 50 professionals who are on hand daily in the Ochten, Vlaardingen and Tilburg branches. Experience is also a plus. HKV knows the client's needs and knows how to satisfy them in a customized way. "Next year, with our 50th anniversary, we will reach a fine milestone," Sjors looks ahead. "A period in which we have built up a nice clientele, gained a foothold in the infrastructure sector and contributed to wonderful projects. An excellent starting point for the next 50 years."
