Unique app gives 24/7 visibility of each project site

With the 24/7 Kooi App, Kooi is launching a unique invention. "Visibility of construction sites through a web portal is of course widely known," says international business developer Jelmer Kloosterman, closely involved in the development of the application. "But making the full service available through an app is new. After an intensive development process, we are very proud of the end result. With the app we offer our customers an extra piece of service."

Multipurpose 

The 24/7 Cage App, downloadable for iOS and Android, provides continuous visibility into projects. For example, users can use the app to watch the camera systems present at the location and view incident reports and analyses. "In addition, it is possible to quickly and easily communicate changes in security times," Kloosterman continues. "Previously, this was done mainly over the phone and took quite some time to process. This app, which incidentally is also available in a desktop version, puts an end to that once and for all. From now on, the user can make the desired changes directly. Our own Kooi Alarm Center then ensures that these changes are processed fully automatically. As a result, the customer is always assured of proper security."

Clear overview 

In addition to the functionalities already mentioned by Kloosterman, the Kooi App also provides a crystal-clear overview of the UFOs (Unit For Observation) set up on a project. Both in terms of their number and exact location. "During the realization of a project, it is very important to know exactly how many and where the security cameras are located and what material and equipment they are supposed to secure," Kloosterman said. "For that too, this app provides a solution. A plus that, like the other benefits, is going to make the work of executives and work planners clearer and easier."
