Range of compact drilling rigs expanded

Inpieq is a renowned player within the foundation industry, with a wide range of compact models that excel in performance, innovation and reliability. The latest addition listens to the name IFD 8, the first of which is for Verhoef Funderingstechnieken.

The IFD series now counts seven models, with transport weights between 2 and 52 tons and drilling torques ranging from 20 to 450 kNm. With these popular drilling rigs, Inpieq proves that compact and powerful go together perfectly. The new IFD 8 also stays true to this philosophy in terms of construction size, but can nevertheless boast a torque of 80 kNm. Following the latest trend, an electric drive line is provided, although the battery capacity is intended rather to drive the machine off the flatbed trailer and onto site. For foundation work, the intention is to connect the drilling rig to the grid or an external battery.

Drill rig IFD 8 measures just 1.25 meters wide, making it ideal for use on hard-to-reach or cramped construction sites.

Perfectly tuned

The IFD 8 measures only 1.25 meters wide and features an 8-meter leader, to which is attached an IRD 8 drill motor with 8 Tm drilling capacity and a compact clamp. Steel pipes up to 6 meters long - drummed or not - can be inserted into the drill box along the bottom, and even 12 meters along the top. With this compact powerhouse, Verhoef from Meerkerk is expanding its fleet with an extremely versatile and durable machine. Inpieq's piling and drilling rigs are successfully deployed on hard-to-reach or cramped construction sites.

"After all, in terms of flexibility, maneuverability and mobility, the machines are perfectly suited to that," owner Frank van Deursen knows. "We want to excel in compactness, that's where our true strength lies. We also have the slogan 'Customization as a trademark'. The aim is to deliver every foundation machine completely to the customer's requirements, so that it can be used for specialist work." In addition to its own product line, Inpieq also offers all associated components, such as grout units, pull tables, vibratory hammers and pile drivers.

Data is knowledge

In the course of this year, Inpieq is also launching a new, more extensive version of its in-house developed Data Logging System. This innovative data logging system provides answers to all issues within the Quality Assurance Act (Wkb): What goes into the ground? Where? When? And how? The system supports two-way traffic between office and machine, enabling more intensive cooperation and reducing the risk of errors. Frank: "All parameters such as drilling depth, concrete or grout consumption, RPM and time registration are directly visible. After all, measuring is knowing. The recorded data are of great value in demonstrating that the foundation meets the specified bearing capacity requirements."
