(Junior) Work Planner

What you contribute to

As a Work Planner, you will work on beautiful civil engineering water projects. Specifically, you will work in the project 'Replacing treated shoreline structures'. We are expanding the project organization because we face a tough task. We are replacing over 200 kilometers of treated bank structures for a more sustainable variant. We are doing this to improve water quality. As Work Planner, you are making an important contribution to this. You do this by taking care of the technical work preparation in the preparation and realization phases of the project. With this you work on the safe, qualitative and timely execution of the project.

Specifically:

  • Provide direction for planning, procurement, work plans and inspections (dredging, shoring).
  • Supervise the tendering process. You collect all data required for this, such as design drawings, and process them into specifications.
  • Provide contractors and suppliers with technical specifications in execution.
  • Have an organizing role in process supervision and in this you have an eye for risks, quantities and cost control.

Your profile:

As a Work Planner, you are a practical and committed technician with an eye for project management, engineering and finance. Preferably you also have experience in these areas. If not yet, we are happy to invest in your development through an appropriate training program. We find your motivation and enthusiasm more important. This will inspire others to get started. You keep an eye on the interests of the organization and its stakeholders. Thanks to your communication skills, you can write well, make contact easily and know how to connect people and dossiers.

In addition:

  • Do you possess MBO+ or HBO working and thinking level.
  • Keep connected to national developments in your field to keep your knowledge current.
  • Knowledge of UAV management and the RAW system is a plus.

This is where you will work

If you work at the Zuiderzeeland Water Board, then you work at the bottom of the former Zuiderzee. In an environment that is constantly changing - socially, legally and climatically. That makes your work and that of your colleagues surprisingly versatile and quite challenging. You will work in the Water Management department, where 65 colleagues are spread over 4 teams. This department focuses on the planned and daily management and maintenance of our water system and water safety.

  • You can count on a good salary, where the concrete amount depends on your experience. Based on a full-time work week (36 hours) you will receive a maximum of € 4,680 (scale 8 as a Junior Work Planner and scale 9 as an experienced Work Planner - Collective Labor Agreement for Water Boards).
  • You will receive an individual choice budget of 21% of your annual salary. You may spend this money freely, for example for additional leave days or as a supplement to your salary.
  • Will initially receive a one-year contract. We intend to extend it indefinitely when we are satisfied with the cooperation from both sides.
  • We offer excellent fringe benefits. For example, we attach great value to your development (personal development budget of €6,000 to €12,000), reimburse expenses if you travel by public transport (lowest fare, second class) or offer a travel allowance of €0.23 per kilometer (traveling by private transport).
