System architect

Systems Architect

Do you have an affinity for Electrical Engineering and Automation and would you like to contribute to complex projects for appealing clients? Become our new colleague System Architect. Covalent has the ambition to grow further. Therefore we have room for experienced and less experienced System Architects for 32 - 40 hours per week.

What will you do?

As a System Architect, you are responsible for the design and realization of the integral control system within an infrastructural or industrial project.

You will work in a team with consultants from other disciplines (mechanical engineering, civil engineering) with the joint goal of realizing a functional and safe system. This system contains an operating and control layer, as well as components such as communication and vision systems and supporting ICT applications. The challenge is to make all subsystems work together as a whole, in such a way that the required functions are realized and the users can use them.

In the team, you are the one who brings together and manages the project in terms of technical content. You are the content partner of the Technical Manager in your area of expertise.

You have an independent position and advise the project on the most appropriate solutions within the framework of the project objective. You do not avoid discussions, you bridge differences of opinion and thus bring the people and the systems within a project together. You are alert to possible risks that may arise and take action accordingly. Working for the client, you supervise the contractor's work and validate whether all requirements are met.

As a system architect, you will be involved in large and complex projects. Your needs and the expertise you bring will determine where you get to work.

What do we offer you?

A job at a specialized consulting firm without hierarchy. Together with your colleagues you determine the course of Covalent.

And further:
