"You can't think of anything or we'll rent it. We really are a total supplier for the GWW. And if there is a need for a specific solution, we are not afraid to invest in it," says company manager Perry Bunnik.
Bunnik Rental and John Bunnik Grondverzet are used by many renowned infra contractors. "For example, we are active for Van Gelder on the Rijnlandroute, for Ballast Nedam on the Blankenburg connection and for KWS Infra on the Rotterdamsebaan. We also work for many small(er) and local contractors," says Perry. "Our lines of communication are short and our staff is extremely skilled which means we can respond quickly and flexibly to unexpected or complex situations. Even on weekends. Moreover, we have an extremely modern machine park and, especially in recent years, we have invested a lot in new machines and pumps with clean engines."
Recently on the Blankenburg connection, John Bunnik Grondverzet has maximized its added value. "With a complete range of pumps, rollers, earthmoving equipment and sewer plows, we completed the necessary subprojects for BAAK," Perry explains. "For that, we even modified some machines to achieve optimal results. We also do this regularly for KWS Infra, a customer from the very beginning. We even have earth-moving equipment running in KWS's house color, fully equipped with a customized vacuum unit. After the preliminary earthmoving, the same machine can be used to lay the paving. We also regularly supply 1.5-ton sand-debris and earthmoving rollers, a 13-ton vibratory roller or static three-rollers with clean Stage V engines. We will soon take delivery of the keys to a new crawler crane case CX250D with extended boom as replacement for a 2004 Kato 820 with over 24,000 hours of operation. There is also increasing interest in our soil suction units for damage-free digging. With an impressive range of machines, attachments and our skilled personnel, we do not shy away from any challenge."
Bunnik Verhuur is the pump specialist par excellence. Perry: "We rent out various pumps for large and small projects: electric dirty water pumps and well pumps. We are also increasingly installing well pumps to excavate basements or keep trenches dry. If there is no electricity available, we make a trade-off between diesel pumps or a generator with a number of electric pumps, depending on the application. Every project is unique. With our years of knowledge and experience, we always know how to realize the right configuration, including accessories. A ready-made solution, in other words. This also applies to our mobile light trucks and trench shoring systems. Because of the stricter requirements more and more trench shoring is chosen. Our range of boxes varies from lightweight solutions of 3 meters long by 1.60 meters high to boxes of 5 meters long by 2.60 meters high."
Thanks to optimal synergy between our sister companies, infrastructure contractors have only one point of contact for virtually all (support) equipment and accessories, Perry summarizes. "We take care of the complete picture, offer quick service and are on standby 24/7."
