From January 12 through 15, 2027, InfraTech will bring the infrastructure sector together at Rotterdam Ahoy. At the premier platform for the Dutch infrastructure sector, clients, contractors, engineering firms, government agencies, and suppliers will come together to share knowledge, discover innovations, and continue building tomorrow’s infrastructure together.

New at InfraTech

How can we make the infrastructure sector appealing to a new generation? At the NextGen Plaza during InfraTech 2027, young people will discover just how versatile, innovative, and challenging a career in infrastructure can be. The plaza is a place to find inspiration, discover new opportunities, and get hands-on experience. 

Visitors can attend short presentations on Human Capital, play infrastructure games, and learn about the many opportunities the sector has to offer. More than 400 Technasium students will also take center stage. During InfraTech, they will work on a Research & Design (R&D) challenge focused on current issues in the infrastructure sector and present their research findings in the plaza. 

The NextGen Plaza is an initiative for and by the sector. Employees from the participating partners staff the plaza and work together to inspire young talent and strengthen the connection between education and the professional world. 

In this way, InfraTech is bringing the future of the industry closer, and together we are giving concrete meaning to the theme of Human Capital.

Participate in the Start-up & Scale-up Plaza

New ideas, smart technology, and innovative solutions: startups and scale-ups are playing an increasingly important role in the development of the infrastructure sector. Examples include solutions for grid congestion, innovative maintenance techniques, and technology that helps organize infrastructure in a smarter, more sustainable, and more efficient way.

Meanwhile, the program content is taking shape thanks to industry experts. The opening date for InfraTech 2027 has already been set: InfraTech will officially open on Tuesday morning, January 12, at 11:00 a.m.
