10-year-old Prolock Omega screens reused. In a joint initiative of the village of Oudega, the municipality of Smallingerland, the province of Fryslân and Wetterskip Fryslân, the harbor in Oudega will be expanded and refurbished. The work is being carried out by excavation and contracting company van der Meer BV from Scharnegoutum.
The harbor looked at a new layout and, as a result, a portion of the existing Prolock Omega sheet pile was reused in a new location. The now 10-year-old sheet pile was simply pulled out of the ground to be reinstalled a short distance away. Prolock: circular thinking, circular doing!
