Koninklijke Euser B.V. has been working for Van der Valk Hotels and Restaurants since last summer. Especially for this new partnership, the Barendrecht-based transport company ordered no fewer than 10 units of Mercedes-Benz Actros F. Managing Director & Owner Bas Euser says: "With its relatively low and wide cab, the Actros F is a hit for this fine work. In terms of ease of use, safety and appearance, this truck fits perfectly with what we get to do for Van der Valk Hotels and Restaurants."
For the majority of Van der Valk's hotels, Euser supplies the hotel restaurants with refrigerated and frozen products. Director Bas Euser explains, "Last year we were asked, along with other parties, whether we could take care of distribution for Van der Valk. This was not a standard request, because the logistics organization was from scratch built up including the realization of our own DC. From the beginning we looked at how we could optimize the logistics process down to the last detail, for example by smart planning of routes. There was an immediate click, because as family businesses we both like short lines of communication, thinking along with others and flexibility. We are proud and happy that we were chosen: Van der Valk is a tremendously nice addition to the portfolio of Royal Euser B.V."

To carry out the logistics tasks for Van der Valk Hotels, Koninklijke Euser B.V. has chosen the recently marketed Mercedes-Benz Actros F. "The introduction of this truck is perfectly timed, because the Actros F, with its relatively low and wide cab, fits seamlessly with the work we do for this customer. We supply all 57 hotels in the Netherlands and Belgium: from De Koog in Texel to Arlon, near Luxembourg. Those hotels are regularly located in built-up areas: it is therefore real distribution work, but with long distances. For this, the Actros F offers practical ease of use and safety. Because the cab is lower, entry is easier and all-round visibility is better. At the same time, the extra-wide cab offers a high level of comfort on long journeys," Bas Euser says.

Royal Euser B.V. ordered 10 tractors and trailers with both refrigeration and freezer capabilities for this order. "The trucks are finished in Mercedes-Benz white and things like the grille and sideskirts are neatly painted along. Together with the new, stickered trailers, there really is an impressive combination. This is the look that suits a high-quality customer like Van der Valk," Bas Euser says proudly.
He continues: "The trucks have distinctively low fuel consumption. In addition, our drivers appreciate the low entry level. It is also nice to be on the road with the very latest equipment. While supplying Van der Valk hotels, you also come across some truly wonderful places. This gives the drivers a smile on their face and in times of scarcity that is exactly what is important!"

The purchase of the new series of Actrossen F is a continuation of years of successful cooperation between Royal Euser B.V. and Daimler Truck. Jan van der Malen, Key Account Manager Fleetsales at Daimler Truck Nederland, says: "Our cooperation has been going on since the 1980s and has intensified each time. Especially in recent years, the company has grown enormously: there are now almost 400 trucks driving through the Netherlands and Europe, most of which are Mercedes-Benz trucks. In our cooperation we keep the lines of communication short and go for maximum efficiency. For us, the fact that we have again received the trust for the work for Van der Valk Hotels is the crowning glory of Royal Euser B.V.!"
The trucks were prepared for delivery and delivered by Van Mossel Vans & Trucks.
