Lubricants need not be harmful to humans and the environment
"There is no reason not to switch to biodegradable lubricants," states Michael Anslijn of Duport Lubricare. "The oil from the Swiss company Motorex lasts the entire useful life of a machine, is miscible with other biodegradables, PFAS-free, fully degradable and we take over the manufacturer's warranty if necessary. So why not do it? It's just as important as emissions-free operation."
As a consultant at Duport Lubricare, Anslijn has years of experience with biodegradable lubricants. "Because it is made on the basis of saturated ester liquids, Motorex oil is compatible with all common seals. Modifications to a machine are not necessary, so switching from mineral oils to biodegradable ones is a piece of cake. Moreover, you do not need to replace them during the entire life of a machine. So less downtime, less labor and much less use of harmful substances. Count your winnings!"
Should a hose break unexpectedly, Motorex's lubricants are not harmful to the environment. Anslijn: "75 percent breaks down within 28 days, according to the OECD 301B guideline. Not for nothing do more and more clients - municipalities, but also Waternet - prescribe biodegradable lubricants." Machine owners who fear that their manufacturer's warranty will expire after switching to a different lubricant can reassure Anslijn. "Together with Motorex, after free sampling of the oil, we issue a declaration of miscibility with the current oil in the system. We then take over the warranty in black and white."
Anslijn continues: "Our CARDEV filtration systems are specially designed to rid hydraulic lubricants of dirt and water. In most cases, this can even be done while the machine is running. This is because lubricants based on saturated esters can be cleaned very easily at lower temperatures." With CARDEV, it is possible to get and keep the hydraulic oil in the system cleaner than new. That means less downtime, longer service life, less waste and better for people and the environment.
