More and more projects are being tendered and executed emission-free. Companies are investing heavily in electric equipment. For optimum efficiency, it is nice that machines, vehicles and other electric equipment can be charged on site, and preferably quickly as well. With Lanova's mobile fast chargers this is a breeze.
Lanova is a total supplier of charging solutions. "We started six years ago and now focus on specific market segments with a number of divisions," says Jan Willem Voortman, sales manager at Lanova. "The construction and infrastructure sector is one of them, and immediately a very important one. The transition to electric has clearly started here, and that also requires appropriate solutions and a solid charging infrastructure. Specifically for construction and infra, we supply a wide range of charging solutions, from compact 30 kW (mobile) fast chargers, satellite systems and large ones with even an integrated battery."
Lanova's charging stations are all manufactured in Europe. "The smallest quick charger for construction of 30 kW is a relatively simple unit that you simply connect power current plug (CEE) which is always available on a construction site," explains Jan Willem. "With that, you can recharge compact equipment during breaks, for example, or charge some larger equipment at night." Another solution, which Jan Willem says is currently in high demand in construction and infrastructure, is the 180 kW fast charger with integrated 115 kWh battery. "The idea behind this mobile charging solution is that the battery can slowly 'trickle full' during the day using the standard construction power connection to then powerfully charge equipment. We deliver this charging solution in a so-called skid so that it can be easily moved with a forklift. It's just a matter of plugging it in, and the installation does its job, allowing you to charge up to two machines at the same time with 90 kW."
Challenges are there to be solved. That is Lanova's motto. Looking at developments in the market, Jan Willem rightly notes that much small equipment in construction and infra has already been electrified. "We now see that larger and heavier equipment is also becoming available in an electric version. And also being used. This changes the need for charging. We are therefore very happy to think along in the preliminary stages to charge the equipment on the building site as efficiently as possible. Just put that question to us. Based on the charging requirement, we work out the complete plan, including calculations, whereby our mobile charging solutions are deployed as effectively as possible."
In addition to thinking along in advance, Lanova is also able to move quickly. "We have a large stock of mobile charging solutions, so we can quickly deliver a charging station on site. It can be arranged within a day," emphasizes Jan Willem. "However, the presence of a building connection is a requirement. While our solutions are plug-and-play, we also have a service and maintenance service to professionally handle any malfunctions or custom solutions." Lanova also supplies all charging solutions with their own software Lanova Connect for optimal and efficient charging station management. "We can configure the software completely as required, tailored to each construction or infrastructure project. All in all, that makes us a full-fledged total supplier of mobile charging solutions."
