Meerman is a familiar face at the TKD fair. Ever since the first edition, they have participated as an exhibitor. "This year visitors can get to know a number of machines that have been renewed, but could not be presented earlier due to the pandemic. Besides the latest models with diesel engines, we are also taking along an electric tracked dumper, excavator and two wheel loaders," says commercial director Koen Meerman.
At booth 112, Meerman will bring Kubota's two compact wheel loaders. These powerful machines are very interesting for the construction and agricultural sector. Both can be assembled with a wide selection of options, ranging from attachments to factory painting in the desired corporate color.
"The trend is zero-emission work," Koen Meerman knows. "But it is an illusion that we can replace every machine with an electric one in the short term. That is why we should not lose sight of the diesel engine, which has become much cleaner. All our diesel engines meet the Stage V emission standard and can run on HVO100."
Meerman has been an importer of Kubota excavators and also a Bomag dealer for 40 years. They also sell and rent the brands Morooka (dumpers) and Cangini (attachments). Since 2019 they have been part of Royal Reesink, but the feeling of a family business has certainly not disappeared. "Actually, we are small, but big in what we do. With a fixed group of employees, we supply an awful lot of machines. We know our customers well. They indicate that they find our short lines of communication and personal attention very important."
