It is exactly one year since Rototilt launched the new Rototilt Control product series, which was positively received by the market. Today, Rototilt can announce that the series is complete, now that the two smallest rotary tilters are getting their counterparts in the RC series. "This is what we have been working towards all this time," says Sven-Roger Ekström, Product Manager at Rototilt.
Sales are now underway for all rotary tilters in the RC Tiltrotator product series. The compact rotary tilters RC1 and RC2 are now the last to go on sale. This means that excavators from 1.5 to 43 tons can also use the products in the Rototilt Control product series. According to Rototilt, the popularity of their compact rotary tilters has increased in recent years and they have become bestsellers in a small size.
"We see more and more people discovering the benefits of a pivot tilt attachment for a smaller excavator," says Sven-Roger Ekström, Product Manager at Rototilt. "They work in tight spaces and the extra flexibility with a swivel tilt attachment can make a big difference. We are pleased to be able to offer our latest product line also for users working in this kind of environment."
Compared to the R series, the SecureLock safety interlock and the ILS central lubrication system are included as standard with RC1 and RC2. Other good news is that these models also come with all the benefits of the RC System control system. This means users can use RC Connect for remote support, as well as Rototilt's own new RC Joysticks.
"Users looking to take their system to the next level will be pleased that the RC Joysticks and RC Connect are now also available for the smallest excavators," says Ekström. "Both these and the previous options that are now included as standard give the system that little bit extra. The whole thing gets a boost, both in terms of service and safety."
The fact that all rotary tilters in the RC series receive the SecureLock safety interlock as standard means that the entire chain meets the new requirements of the EN474 standard. According to Rototilt's Technical Manager Niklas Bjuhr, this has been a priority throughout the project.
"We take it for granted that our products must meet market requirements and current regulations, so there was no doubt about that when we developed RC Tiltrotators," says Bjuhr.
"SecureLock is an innovative solution to safely and easily lock your piece of equipment. It is a security for our users."
