At TKD, Tele Radio zooms in on hip transmitters and truck control

From June 8 to 10, visitors to the 28th TKD will have ample opportunity to view and compare Tele Radio's radio control systems.

Western Europe's largest outdoor exhibition focuses on the earth-moving, recycling equipment and related specialties from the construction and industrial sectors. The location is the 118,000 m2 former parking lot of the Floriade in Almere will have plenty of space for active equipment demonstrations plus a demo track for trucks and dumpers during TKD 2023.

At Tele Radio during the Technische Kontakt Dagen the emphasis will be on the wide range of hip transmitters and on the innovative Tele Radio Exster system. With this system a truck including mounted crane and the like can be controlled and operated from outside the cabin without any problems. The advantages are obvious: it is much safer, works more efficiently, requires slightly fewer workers, and there is a smaller chance of accidents and injuries. Exster is based on Tele Radio's most advanced wireless remote control system to date and easily operated with one of the TEQ series hip transmitters. Installation is easy, too. The plug-and-play control system is custom programmable and includes functionalities such as forward and reverse, stop and start, turn, handbrake control, (hazard) lights on/off and the horn.

Practical and efficient tool

Not only to remotely control a truck, a hip transmitter is a practical and efficient tool. Tele radio has them available for a wide variety of industrial applications. The wide range of transmitters is seamlessly tailored to the user's needs and to the specific nature of the work. The hip transmitters come in two different formats: as a standard version or custom built (the Custom Line) for specific applications. The user has a choice of push buttons, switches, joysticks, feedback information and so on. This is another of Tele Radio's strengths: customization and guiding the customer through to commissioning.

Three series Tele Radio hip transmitter

The PrimaTEQ is the most compact hip transmitter. It is 21 cm wide and suitable for extended use in harsh conditions, thanks in part to its sturdy housing with ergonomic handles. The PrimaTEQ has a PLe/SIL3 safety level, stop function and pre-programmed lifting and hoisting settings.

VersaTEQ is the more multifunctional hip transmitter. It is 24 cm wide, rugged, versatile and flexible for many applications, with its active antenna, RFID control and suitability for a multitude of bus systems.
Finally, the SupraTEQ is the superlative. This 33 cm measuring full-size hip transmitter has space for a large number of controls, making it ideal for controlling complex hydraulic, mobile and industrial machinery.
