New European market leader in filter overpressure systems: BMAir merges with Amberg Umwelt-Technik

BMAir, one of Europe's leading manufacturers of filter overpressure systems, has acquired 100 percent of the shares of Amberg Umwelt-Technik GmbH, the German market leader in the construction machinery industry. The merger creates a new European market leader in filter overpressure systems for construction machinery.

For more than 25 years, BMAir has been the leading manufacturer of filter overpressure systems for construction equipment in the Netherlands, Belgium, France, Italy and the United Kingdom. BMAir's product range is used by thousands of companies. The company follows an ambitious growth and internationalization strategy, with the German market playing a key role. The merger with Amberg creates the new number one industry in Europe. The two companies stand for a high level of service, high quality and reliability at a fair price. As a result of the merger, BMAir products will now also be available through the Amberg network all over Germany, including installation and service.

Following the acquisition by BMAir, Amberg will continue the operational activities under its own name from its Nettetal office. On an organizational level, Robin Veltman, Managing Partner at BMAir for 20 years, will be appointed Managing Director of the combined company alongside Thomas Cronen. Thomas Cronen successfully led Amberg Umwelt-Technik GmbH for many years as Managing Director and developed Amberg into the German market leader. Together with Robin Veltman, he will now contribute to the expansion of both companies.

The market for filter overpressure systems is developing very dynamically, driven by the gradual change in laws and regulations due to new knowledge about exposure to hazardous substances. It requires constant innovation to make this knowledge available to users and so that companies can remain compliant. With our products, companies meet tomorrow's legislation today, with a high level of service. The demand for high-quality filter overpressure systems is increasing as operators and drivers become more aware of the dangers of contaminated air and companies take responsibility for the health of their employees.

Robin Veltman of BMAir says of the Amberg acquisition, "BMAir and Amberg have found each other because we share values of quality, service, professionalism and reliability." For both companies, the safety of operators and drivers is paramount , so we are confident that together we can offer the best products for all of Germany.

Thomas Cronen of Amberg emphasizes, "The merger between BMAir and Amberg is very positive news for all employees, customers and partners. Our common goal is sustainable success and further growth. The prospects for both companies are very good and we are convinced that we have made the best possible decision for a successful future. Our customers will benefit from the combined know-how and a broader offering that can be even better tailored to their current and future needs."

The product range and latest solutions of BMAir and Amberg will be presented at the world's leading trade fair for the construction machinery industry, the Bauma in Munich from Oct. 24 to 30 this year.
