From 2023, Kemp Groep will expand its brand pallet to include Kramer wheel loaders and telehandlers for the construction industry. Kramer has found in Kemp Groep, a renowned main importer of A-brands with seven branches in the Netherlands, the ideal total supplier in terms of both sales, rental and service.
It was bustling at Kemp Group during the open days in Tiel, Gelderland. Some 4,000 customers and interested parties visited these open days in December. For two days the doors of one of the branches were open for young and old. The latest machines are on display, but visitors also get a look behind the scenes in the workshop and warehouse. Furthermore, customers can test the machines in the sandbox and obtain information in a relaxed atmosphere while enjoying a snack and drink.
During the past open days on December 28 and 29, 2022, not only a new product was presented, but even a whole new brand. Indeed, the cooperation between manufacturer Kramer and Kemp Group was announced. A large number of Kramer wheel loaders and telehandlers were on display. On the demonstration area, the Kramer 5085 showed how maneuverable a four-wheel steer loader is and how much grip the wheel loader has on a steep slope. In the showroom, the electric 5065e was the center of attention.
The Kramer brand has been known in Germany and Europe since the middle of the last century for manufacturing first tractors and then wheel loaders and telehandlers, among others. From the very beginning, the brand has stood for safety, competence, high quality and passion. Mergers with Neuson in 2000 and Wacker in 2007 created a strong, internationally operating company in Wacker Neuson SE.
At Wacker Neuson's approximately 45,000 m² state-of-the-art site in southern Germany, Kramer Werke GmbH produces machinery for the construction and agricultural sectors. The German company is constantly expanding its international sales network. Kramer dealers are selected according to strict criteria so that customers benefit from the best service and competent spare parts supply even after purchase.
Since Kemp Group exclusively has A-brands from the construction industry in its assortment, Kramer's high-quality, robust loaders fit perfectly into the concept. Commercial director Arthur Plomp says about this: "For us it is a great opportunity and challenge to put the advantages of four-wheel steering and the associated extra safety even better on the map here in the Netherlands." Moreover, until now Kemp Group could not offer its customers anything from the relatively large market segment of small wheel loaders. These versatile machines are not only excellent for use in ground, road and hydraulic engineering but also in sectors such as recycling and industry.
Moreover, Kramer produces innovative electric models with high performance. This was also an important reason for marketing this brand. After all, the importance of electric machines is growing even faster in the Netherlands than in many other countries.
Because of Kramer's large market share in many other European countries, Plomp sees very good opportunities to significantly increase its market share in the future in the Netherlands as well. Kemp Group, with 7 branches in the Netherlands, is perfectly capable of achieving this. The company distributes machines from well-known A-brands, such as Kobelco, BOMAG and Atlas. Huur&Stuur; a nationwide rental company of a complete range of earthmoving equipment, is also part of the company.
Matthias Aicheler, sales manager for the construction industry at Kramer, explains why the two companies are a good match: "Kemp Group's total service package includes not only sales and rental, but also first-class service with 24-hour breakdown service, large spare parts warehouses, showrooms and demo grounds. In the workshops, the machines can be expertly equipped according to the customer's wishes."
Sales of Kramer machines will begin as early as January 2023. Kemp Group will distribute the complete delivery program for the construction industry. These include wheel loaders, telehandlers and telehandlers. The rental fleet will also soon be completed with the first machines from Kramer.
A few weeks ago, Kemp Group's sales employees were already trained by Kramer. Soon, intensive training is scheduled for the service technicians. In this way, Kemp Group provides service at the usual high level.
The company's goals are clear, despite these uncertain times marked by inflation and the nitrogen issue. In the coming year, the Kemp Group wants to serve its existing customers even more comprehensively and with a broader product range. The company also wants to acquire new customers in industries and recycling, for example, in order to make the most of the potential for a larger market share that Kramer offers. "We have the ambition to become the best 'multi brand' supplier in the Benelux. We work on this goal every day," explains Arthur Plomp.
