For 35 years, Saes International has been a leading supplier of (hydraulic) attachments for recycling, demolition and earth moving. According to director-owner Henk Saes, the extensive product range is characterized by one common denominator: unmatched quality. At the TKD Saes shows an interesting selection from the wide range of attachments
and also presents a new line of magnets.
After five years of absence, it is finally going to happen this year: Western Europe's largest demonstration exhibition for earthmoving and demolition equipment will open its gates on June 8. According to the organization, TKD is bigger than ever, with an outdoor area of no less than 118,000 m2 on the former Floriade grounds. Saes International is also packing big this edition. "The TKD is an excellent opportunity for us to show our wide range of brands to the general public: Epiroc, Erkat, LaBounty, SAES and VTN. Ideally we would like to show everything, but of course that is impossible. We have therefore made a wonderful selection and also have a real first in store," says sales manager Jeroen Hornman enthusiastically.
From Epiroc, Saes International is showing the brand new VC2000, among others. "The drum cutter has a revolutionary design because of the shape and angle of the drum cutting head in a V-shape," Hornman explains. "It allows you to make a slot without having to move the machine up and down because the patented gear design allows the drum cutter to just be used straight up and down. It also provides more control to the operator."
Epiroc is also "rock solid" in the field of demolition hammers, according to Hornman. "At the TKD we will show, among others, a specimen from the SB, MB and HB series. The Epiroc hammers are the most productive hammers, due to an ideal ratio between weight and productivity. The SB hammers can be equipped with Saes central lubrication, while the Epiroc HB and MB hammers we are showing at the show are equipped with the optional ContiLube II lubrication system and Hatcon tracking system."
The lubrication system is mounted directly on the hydraulic hammer for uninterrupted operation and optimized lubrication. The Hatcon tracking system in turn monitors the operating hours, location and maintenance intervals of the demolition hammer. Through the online portal, you can access all your data and receive notifications when it is time for maintenance.
The range of grapples and shears at Saes is quite extensive. Among the items on display at booth 158 is a demolition/sorting grapple from Epiroc, but visitors can also admire LaBounty's new MSD 2250 scrap shears in person. This series delivers up to 10% more cutting power than LaBounty's previous scissor offerings. In addition, Saes will show from the VTN brand, among others, the CK17 multiprocessor, the FP18 rotary pulverizer and a demolition/sorting grapple from the MD series, specifically aimed at demolition.
Henk Saes has high expectations for the TKD. "After several years of postponement, we expect a beautiful and well-attended fair, at which we show an expansion of our range in addition to the well-known brands. For example, we have recently launched our own Saes line of hydraulically driven magnets, so that we can really serve our customers optimally on all fronts. On our stand we will show three variants of these Saes magnets. And finally, to make the 'list' complete, we are also showing our Saes vibratory blocks at the fair."
Curious about the capabilities of Saes International? "Visit us at TKD 2023 at booth 158 and get informed by our enthusiastic team. But be sure to take a look at our renewed website (www.saes.nl) and our webshop, where we offer new equipment as well as used parts. All in top condition and delivered with warranty," concludes Henk Saes.
