Tele Radio will sell sister company Åkerströms' industrial product line Sesame, starting in the Benelux countries, France, Ireland and the United Kingdom.
The Sesame products are specifically designed for applications with a limited number of functions, such as remote opening of gates, garage doors, barriers and operating tailgates, winches but also fans, lights and floodlights. They are thus very widely applicable.
The transmitters/receivers of the Sesame product line complement Tele Radio's own T20/T60 products. That they differ from these in some respects makes them interesting for certain target groups. There is a choice of six transmitters in four sizes, including a handy keychain version. The transmitters can control up to 1,000 different receivers. The receivers include four versions in a large housing with or without display and wall mounting plus two versions in a compact DIN housing.
The transmitters are very easy to use and have robust and durable housings with rubber protective edges. They comply with IP67 and are resistant to dirt and moisture. The high-quality buttons can be pressed more than 1 million times without problems.
The secure digital signal at 869 MHz provides optimum protection against interference. Use of a range extender enables a long transmission range. The receivers offer a simple programming option, where settings are stored quickly and simply on an exchangeable memory card inserted in the receiver. This makes replacing a receiver extra easy. In applications with multiple automatic doors, gates or barriers, it also saves a lot of time when installing or changing settings. The receiver is protected by a PIN code. Attractive with the Sesame transmitters is the return signal that can be displayed from the receiver as confirmation that the signal has been accepted.
The Sesame series offers the flexibility, reliability, ruggedness and ease of use required for applications in demanding, industrial environments. Part of the product line includes convenient accessories for operating the transmitters from a cabin, such as a holder with its own 12-volt power supply and the option for an external antenna. This also allows the transmitter to be used reliably from a cabin with heat-resistant glass that can cause interference.
As part of Sweden's globally active Allgon AB Group, both Tele Radio and sister company Åkerströms produce wireless remote controls for industrial use, each with its own partly specific target group and suitable products for that purpose.
