Expansion of rental activities in France

• The Liebherr Group has a rental fleet of hundreds of tower cranes in France. Much of this fleet is located in the Ile-de-France and North region.

• Hexagone Services has developed into a major lessor in France and will continue to expand its operations in the Ile-de-France and North regions.

• Liebherr retains its sales activities in France as well as its rental activities in the other French regions.

• The Liebherr-Grues à Tour technical support center in Fontenay-Trésigny is being transformed into the National Technical Center for Liebherr tower cranes.

According to Marco Guariglia, director of sales at Liebherr, "France has had special significance for Liebherr since the beginning. With this step, our rental partners will become stronger and Liebherr can further expand its market position.".

Christophe Zimmermann, Managing Director of Liebherr-Grues à Tour SAS, sees this synergy between Liebherr and Hexagone as the result of a long-standing, positive collaboration and also sees the opportunity to further focus on the core business of crane sales and premium service. In this context, the Liebherr division in Fontenay-Trésigny will be expanded into the National Technical Center for Liebherr tower cranes in France. From here, the further development of the business through service, training and logistics is supported and supervised.
