Joining forces for a climate neutral 2050

TV presenter Lucas de Man asked this of three companies namely Mobilis, Van Gelder and Boskalis Nederland, competitors in the infra world. Conclusion: in the market there is really no other way than to join forces in order to achieve this ambition. This provides a necessary movement and dynamism in the chain to be able to change. It is clear that this is an ambition we have to work very hard on, which may be on the edge of feasibility. But the most important thing in this is not so much that ambition, but the awareness. The awareness of us as companies and of our employees that we really want to make a difference.

Robert Jan Feijen, managing director of TBI company Mobilis: "Our greatest ambition is to achieve a zero-emission project that also thinks about operation and modular construction so that the object (for example, a bridge) is moveable.

The three companies Mobilis, Van Gelder and Boskalis Nederland enjoy working together. This is because the three companies are complementary to each other and think alike on this issue "fine words alone will get us nowhere".
