Sweco Welcomes Technocon Employees and Strengthens Its State-of-the-Art Steel Expertise

With Technocon’s employees, Sweco will continue to expand the innovative use of steel in buildings, industry, and engineering structures. Effective October 1, Technocon’s employees will join Sweco through an asset deal. The ongoing structural stability projects will also be taken over. 

Technocon is a leading structural engineering firm, renowned for its efficient steel solutions across a wide range of industries. With this expansion of our steel expertise, we are strengthening our position and expertise in technically complex projects.

I am very pleased to welcome the experts from Technocon to our organization. They bring specific expertise to our multidisciplinary organization. Steel construction is a key component in manufacturability, prefabrication, and the assembly of structures. This allows our architects and engineers to design even more intelligently, which in turn offers our clients benefits in terms of cost and scheduling.

Founded in 1994, Technocon designs steel, concrete, and wood structures for buildings, industrial facilities, public spaces, and engineering structures, for both new construction and renovation projects. The company’s 12 experienced employees approach each project with a focus on the overall concept, an eye for detail, and a results-oriented mindset. In addition to practical considerations, they take feasibility, economic factors, and safety into account. For example, Technocon also provides advice on the fire resistance of steel structures.
