Mini drill stands with electric or diesel engines
In the coming years, the Netherlands faces a major challenge regarding foundation repair. “When people think of subsidence, they immediately think of Amsterdam, but in reality, the entire coast is affected. Moreover, we’re seeing that pile foundations are playing an increasingly important role in property valuations,” says Rick van Oostwaard, co-owner of Lebotec. It is precisely in hard-to-reach and inner-city locations that there is a need for compact machines that still deliver sufficient capacity. With the expansion of the CD line, Lebotec is responding to this need.
Lebotec manufactures compact pile-driving machines and mini drilling rigs for foundation work in locations where space is limited. The machines are suitable for screw injection piles and soil-displacement foundation piles. Extendable tracks ensure stability, and automation and monitoring systems can be added as options. “We can supply all the machines needed to get the job done,” says Rick.
The expansion of the CD line increases the capacity of compact foundation machines. This allows for the installation of heavier piles with larger diameters and drilling torques ranging from approximately 45 to 65 kNm. A hydraulic wedge clamp and horizontal clamping mechanism on the drilling motor make it possible to securely load steel pipes and drive them deep into the ground, even in areas with limited vertical working space.
For inner-city projects, emission-free operation is becoming increasingly important. Lebotec supplies machines with electric or diesel engines and designs them with a universal connection for battery packs from various manufacturers. External hydraulic power units, both electric and diesel-powered, can also be rented or purchased from Lebotec.
“We’ve never stopped developing our products to meet the latest needs and requirements of our customers and the government,” says Rick. According to him, the key is getting the maximum return from the installed capacity. The manufacturer also supports customers with its own service vehicles, partners in the Benelux, and a large parts warehouse. As a result, many spare parts are immediately available, and issues can be resolved quickly in the event of malfunctions.
“We’re currently experiencing strong growth, both in terms of production volume and headcount,” says Rick. This is helping Lebotec strengthen its position in a market where demand for compact and powerful foundation repair solutions continues to rise.
