Get a better grip on business accommodation in the GWW with LookingforBooking

The GWW sector is all about planning, efficiency and the optimal use of people and resources. Yet one component often remains underexposed: organizing business accommodation. Whether it's long-term infra jobs, teams working scattered across the country or international specialists temporarily flying in: inexpensive and good overnight accommodations close to the project site are essential. In practice, this often leads to fragmented bookings, loose invoices and lack of insight. This can be done smarter, according to LookingforBooking's managing director Stefan Jonkers.

Especially in projects where teams work on location for long periods of time or change locations frequently, arranging overnight accommodations can add a lot of extra administration. LookingforBooking helps companies centralize this process so that bookings, costs and invoicing become clear and manageable. Meanwhile, both large players and SMEs in the GWW are using this approach.

Purchasing power and cost advantage

It is difficult for many infrastructure companies to negotiate competitive price agreements with hotels. Small and medium-sized companies in particular often lack the volume to negotiate favorable rates. “We pool our customers” volume and make price agreements with hotels that we combine with a continuous check of market prices,“ explains managing director Stefan Jonkers. ”This way, companies can be sure that they are not paying too much." Both smaller and larger organizations thus benefit from competitive rates, greater cost insight and process optimization. Moreover, the range is broad: from hotels and hotel chains to B&Bs and vacation parks.

That focus on price and market insight is deeply embedded in the organization. LookingforBooking is part of the Bencom Group, known for price comparison platforms such as Gaslicht.com. That background translates into a data-driven approach, where rates are continuously compared and optimized.

Geared to the practice of infra

The platform closely matches project-based hotel stays in the GWW. Long-term stays or complex schedules can be easily recorded. Bookings can also be linked to a specific project. In addition to the cost of the overnight stay, the cost of breakfast, packed lunches, parking and restaurant costs can also be booked on account. A budget can be set for each item, matching the company's accommodation policy.

With its own ‘business selectline,’ hotels are selected that fit the industry: good accessibility, parking, cancellation options and provisions for early or flexible working hours. “We really look at what employees need at a project site. That makes all the difference in practice,” Jonkers said.

Support in practice

In addition to the platform, LookingforBooking offers personal support. “Companies can fall back on our travel consultants for bookings, project requests and advice. By combining technology with personal service, we can switch quickly and really think along,” Jonkers says. There is no minimum purchase requirement: any company with regular business overnight stays can join.

Safe and forward-looking

Because all data is processed centrally, security is crucial. “We recently obtained the MMOX Cyber Secure Certificate again, confirming that our cyber security meets current standards. We continue to continuously invest in a secure digital environment.” The company is also making strides in the area of sustainability. For example, it recently achieved a silver medal when participating in the EcoVadis Sustainability Rating. “For this, we went through a thorough assessment process and are among the top 7 percent most sustainable companies worldwide rated by EcoVadis,” Jonkers said.

Standing out in the industry

During the Infra Relatiedagen, LookingforBooking presented itself emphatically to the GWW sector for the first time. “With a booth between contractors and equipment suppliers, we were a bit of an oddity,” Jonkers says. “But that is precisely what created the surprise effect. People immediately recognized the problems they were running into: fragmented bookings, loose invoices and little grip on costs per project. That underscores the need for a smarter approach.” With one central platform, where booking, invoicing and reporting come together, LookingforBooking provides greater convenience, purchasing advantage and overview.
