As a Road Management Specialist, you will be responsible for managing municipal pavements and public lighting. In your role, you will ensure that pavements and public lighting remain in good condition. You will advise on new construction or renovation plans in the field of paving and lighting. Sustainability, environment, participation and integral working are important elements in your work. You contribute to climate solutions and sustainability. For this you have technical knowledge in the field of roads and lighting. You ensure that all work is coordinated, draw up maintenance plans and contracts, place orders on the market and are responsible for the budget. You are able to independently translate objectives into concrete management measures and maintenance plans.

Team Beheer Openbare Ruimte-Binnen consists of 15 employees, including an Advisor Traffic, Specialists Sewerage and Green, Supervisors Civil and Green and work planners Civil and Green. The team falls under the Physical Environment Department.

The work within a small municipality like Brummen is varied and the lines of communication are short. In Brummen you have many opportunities to organize your own work.
