'In terms of service, we have an edge over the competition'
Under the motto "Passion for parts," ITR Benelux has become a total supplier for the construction industry. In addition to being the world market leader in undercarriage parts, the range also includes rubber tracks, tires, wear parts, repair parts and a complete line of attachments for demolition and recycling.
The Worktools program consists of hydraulic demolition hammers, pulverizers, concrete cutters, scrap shears and demolition/sorting grapples, suitable for machine carriers up to 140 tons. In addition to the previously introduced NitroWhite Line, ITR Benelux is now launching an advanced MonoBlack Line for demanding professionals. These attachments have been extensively tested over the past period by several demolition and recycling companies from both the Netherlands and Belgium.
"The first results are promising," says Marco de Jong, product manager Demolition Tools at ITR Benelux. "At the moment, the final touches are being added in our factory, after which we will confidently take on the competition." The heavy duty range finished in black targets the higher market segment, where performance goes hand in hand with durability and easy maintenance, resulting in savings over the long term.
For a long service life, ITR equips its attachments with advanced technology to combat internal friction. For example, the complete line of hammers - weighing from 70 kg to up to 10 tons - features the ABF system as standard to prevent idle blows. The innovative PRV (Pressure Relief Valve) pressure valve protects the crushers and concrete cutters from the peaks of tremendously high working pressure, which increases service life and makes working safer.
De Jong says: "The quality of the products is further highlighted by a body, blades and tines made of the high-strength steels Hardox, Weldox or Strenx, so they are suitable for extreme conditions and have a low dead weight. Standard features include a robust swivel head for 360° rotation and high quality interchangeable blades and tines, making maintenance more efficient. Everything has been thought of for maximum durability and reliability."
For those who are less demanding, the NitroWhite offers performance and reliability at the best price. Ideal for those who work with a breaker, for example, with some regularity - but not almost daily. Initial customer feedback shows, however, that the MonoBlack Line has clear added value over the white demolition tools. "So all the experience and expertise we have put into our heavy duty series does come out."
Besides quality and soundness, for many customers in the demolition and recycling industry, fast service also plays an important role in order to minimize downtime. ITR Benelux distinguishes itself through an extensive network of specialists and dealers. Its warehouses in Tilburg also stock all wear parts. "We are not the cheapest, but certainly not the most expensive either, and we always deliver fast and good quality," says De Jong.
The demolition equipment product specialist continues: "In terms of service, we have an edge over our competitors. Everyone who has tried our Worktools has been positively surprised by the power of the new attachments and the good control. The hammer, crusher or shear does exactly what it is supposed to do. We have all the knowledge in-house about the necessary hydraulic components and can fall back on USCO colleagues in Italy or Dubai for specific applications."
ITR Benelux is in the process of positioning both product lines in the market. The Worktools range is constantly evolving, according to De Jong. Think product improvement or expansion. "We want to become the reference within the sector and invest not only in high-quality products, but also in expanding our sales and service apparatus. There are still many developments to come to make ITR Benelux even more distinctive and that will contribute to realizing our 2025 ambition in terms of turnover and product range."
Now that the TKD exhibition has been moved to next year, ITR Benelux has decided to organize an open house in Tilburg during the summer, so that everyone can get acquainted with the extensive product range. Further information will follow. So keep a close eye on the (social) media!
