TECHNI-MAT CAPITALIZES ON IMPORTANT THEMES OF INFRA & STRUCTURAL ENGINEERING

The first edition of Techni-Mat on March 25 and 26 will be a promising knowledge event for professionals from the infra and structural engineering sectors. Visitors will be able to gain knowledge and inspiration through an extensive program of information sessions, seminars and workshops addressing various current themes within both sectors.

The knowledge program during the new Techni-Mat trade fair covers various current themes within the infrastructure and structural engineering sector. Issues such as circular construction, climate-robust design, sustainability, digitalization, safety and maintenance of bridges and roads will be discussed in detail. There are workshops on robust water systems, constructing foot and bike paths in cast asphalt, asbestos control, new concrete standards and low-temperature asphalt.

On both March 25 and 26, visitors can visit all sessions from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., free of charge. The full program has been put together in cooperation with Confederatie Bouw, Bouwunie, ADEB-VBA, BGO-OBAC, Aquaflanders and FEDBETON, among others.

Techni-Mat Awards
In addition to various information sessions and seminars, the very first Techni-Mat awards will be presented on Wednesday, March 25 at 7:30 p.m. in cooperation with Louwers Media Group. As many as 1 company out of 4 sent an entry.

Three categories are distinguished: the Sustainability Award, Technical Award and theAudience Award. The three nominees in each category will receive a spot in the Wall of Fame on the show floor. Visitors to Techni-Mat can then vote for the nominees. The nominee with the most public votes wins the Audience Award. All Techni-Mat visitors and exhibitors are free to attend the awards ceremony, which concludes with a reception.
