Genap specializes in covering landfills to prevent erosion, soil water contamination and gas emissions. By covering the surface with the green three-component capping system ClosureTurf® it is immediately suitable for installing solar panels on it. As a result, large surfaces are efficiently and sustainably used to generate green energy. During InfraTech in Rotterdam from January 17 to 20, Genap will present this sustainable solution for covering landfills.
Genap has an exclusive partnership with Watershed Geo® for the distribution and installation of ClosureTurf®, a synthetic final cover system for landfills. Because ClosureTurf® is coated with an artificial grass layer, the surface is immediately suitable for installing solar panels. The revolutionary solar system of Watershed Geo® can be placed directly - without frame construction - on the cover. However, other solar systems are also suitable for mounting on ClosureTurf®.
For many years, Genap has worked closely with AGRU, the producer of the geomembrane component of ClosureTurf®. Genap is a specialist in processing these plastic films in such a way that they are extremely strong and completely leak-tight; a requirement when covering landfills. The seals must be applied under a certificate of plumbing by a certified company. Genap has held this strict KIWA certification since 1997.
During Infratech 2023 in Ahoy Rotterdam (from January 17 to 20) - the most important exhibition in the Netherlands for the infrastructure sector - Genap will present, in addition to ClosureTurf® also other specializations including the installation of foil structures both 'in the wet' and 'in the dry', concrete protection in the form of Hydroclick®, silo covers and waste water storage in foil basins. You will find Genap's booth 2.004 in Hall 4. Mark Visser and Dick van Regteren are ready with fresh coffee......
