The shortage of technical personnel and maintenance engineers is growing. Automatic maintenance systems, such as the grease lubrication systems from Groeneveld Lubrication Solutions, can partly compensate for this shortage. Within its extensive program of automatic lubrication systems, Groeneveld offers a number of systems specifically for heavier machines within the GWW, such as large wheel loaders, dump trucks and excavators.
The solution of choice for larger machines, which are often used under extreme conditions, is Twin. "The absolute top of the range of our lubrication systems," says Jolanda Lemmen. "The twin-conductor concept of the Twin system operates at relatively low pressure, preserving the structure and thus the quality of the grease. The patented 'dispensers' ensure that all lubrication points are always optimally lubricated. With the correct dosage and interval, even at low temperatures and with greater distances between pump and lubrication point." Lemmen cites not only the assured grease quality and optimal dosage as advantages, but indicates that this way maintenance technicians are not needed for the required daily lubrication maintenance. "All that in turn leads to lower operating costs and increased equipment availability."
The Greensight ultrasonic obstacle detection system can significantly increase site safety.
In addition to Twin, Groeneveld also supplies a whole range of pumps for progressive lubrication systems. The OnePlus, which lubricates all the machine's lubrication points sequentially, is particularly suitable for smaller machines and machines with less complex lubrication needs. Think of mini excavators and loaders. The system combines the proven concept of progressive lubrication with a modern pump, which can be easily adjusted with two switches.
With the compact EcoPlus, Groeneveld offers an attractively priced automatic lubrication system for numerous applications, such as on small wheel loaders, mini excavators or skid steer loaders. The unique cartridge concept makes refilling particularly easy, while always using the right quality grease.
TriPlus offers three independently controllable circuits. This makes it the ultimate solution for machines whose different components have varying lubrication requirements, such as mobile excavators, concrete pumps or mixers and, for example, backhoe-loading combinations.
Groeneveld's progressive distribution blocks are distinguished by their unique quality and virtually unlimited combination possibilities. As a result, exactly the right system can be put together for each application, with each lubrication point always receiving the correct amount of grease.
The Twin, the automatic lubrication system suitable for heavier machines, offers safety, assured grease quality and optimal dosage per lubrication point.
Another Groeneveld product that is becoming increasingly common in the world of earthmoving and construction transport is Greensight, an active safety system that significantly increases safety around the machine. Greensight gives the driver or operator accurate and reliable information about the free space in front of or behind the truck or machine. Ultrasonic sensors scan the space up to nine meters behind the machine. This space is divided into three sharply defined zones, each with its own visual and acoustic signaling. A signaling unit is mounted in the cab, producing both sound and light (LED) signals to alert the operator. The system can also be linked to one or more Groeneveld CMOS cameras with display on a color monitor in the cab.
