Software vendor 4PS expands into Germany

4PS, software supplier for the construction industry (building, civil engineering and installation technology), continues its international growth and opens a branch in Ulm, Germany. Under the name 4PS Bausoftware GmbH, 4PS is strengthening its presence on the German market. From Germany, a dedicated team of experienced experts will serve customers in the German construction industry.

With the move to Germany, 4PS Group continues to grow internationally. From its Ulm office, 4PS will provide the construction industry in Germany with an integrated software solution (ERP) to support primary business processes. 4PS Group Partner, Wim Jansen, says, "We are delighted to expand 4PS Group into Germany. With this we take an important next step in our international growth. We are proud to have Oliver Couvigny and Tobias Fenster on board as experts and we are convinced that we have laid the foundation for a successful market launch."

Realizing customer happiness with an excellent product and great service

Oliver Couvigny and Tobias Fenster, co-managing partners of 4PS Bausoftware GmbH, are excited to get started. Oliver explains, "During my decades-long career at IT companies such as Axians Infoma, Axians Deutschland and most recently the Wilken Software Group, I repeatedly came into contact with the founders of 4PS. Even then, the idea of bringing 4PS to Germany was born. Now that the time has finally come, we cannot wait to introduce 4PS to the German construction market and continue the international success story: achieving customer happiness with an excellent product and support from a great team." 

Tobias adds, "In recent years, the focus on cloud-based and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) ERP solutions grew. I am therefore pleased that from now on we will offer German construction companies the perfect solution to support them in digitizing their business processes. About the managing partners

Oliver Couvigny has been working in the Business Central ecosystem for more than 20 years. He began his career at the time of Navision for DOS as a consultant for the German independent software vendor (ISV) Axians Infoma. There he became general manager in 2007. In this role, from 2014, with Infoma as a starting point, he built the Public Software business area at Axians Germany through organic and external growth. Axians Germany developed into a business group of ISVs in the DACH region with a focus on various verticals in the public sector. In 2021, he started as General Manager at Wilken Software Group. In 2022, Oliver decided to follow his heart and brought to life the old idea of innovating the German-speaking construction market with 4PS solutions.

Tobias Fenster has been in the Business Central world for 10 years, starting his career as a developer with various technologies. He held several Business Central focused roles including technical consultant and head of development for German ISV Axians Infoma. In 2019, he became Chief of Technology at international Microsoft partner COSMO CONSULT. Tobias will focus on the technology part within 4PS Germany. He holds dual Microsoft MVP awards for Business Central and Azure and is also a Microsoft Regional Director.
