NDO-Netherlands: non-destructive investigations for every SME who wants certainty
Non-destructive testing from NDT-Netherlands gives every small and medium-sized company working with metal certainty and clarity about the quality of a welded joint, repair or other metal work.

NDT Netherlands: non-destructive testing for every SME who wants certainty

Where Inspecto Visio Group focuses on large corporate organizations (thus serving the client of SMEs), subsidiary NDO-Nederland really wants to go the way of SMEs. "Within SMEs there are just as many questions about the use of non-destructive testing," says Wolter van der Zee, director of NDT-Nederland. "Reason enough to pull it loose and establish NDT-Netherlands. Every small and medium-sized company that works with metal and wants certainty and clarity about the quality of a welded joint, repair or other metal operation can come to us."

Judgmental

Working with metal is great, but the stakes are often high. So it has to be right and it has to be checked. "Creating clarity in the status of the material and the welds, that's what we focus on within NDT-Netherlands," Van der Zee explains, adding, "We do that completely without judgment. We test to determine if it was done right, or how to do it better next time."

There are different forms of non-destructive testing. From the construction of wind turbines at sea, NDO-Netherlands itself developed the Ultrasonic bolt tension testing.

Fast and flexible

Van der Zee explains that different forms of non-destructive testing are possible. "With these, we can help in all situations. We work quickly and often on-site, which saves time and money, and we always think a few steps ahead. When a standard examination is not possible, or when someone else says 'that's not possible,' we find a way in which it can be done." Thus NDO-Netherlands itself developed the test measurement and ultrasonic bolt tensioning. The latter method originated from the construction of offshore wind turbines.

Unburdening

"From the many challenging projects we have done and the certifications we have achieved, it is clear that we are good at what we do. But besides creating clarity in the status of the equipment, we want to offer the customer clarity and certainty on all fronts." Van der Zee explains, "That's why we work for SMEs with a subscription form. A fixed amount every month, regardless of whether you need 6 or 10 hours one week. No more time sheets to check, no more variable sum to include in the work for cost item NDT, because they are all known. Flexibility, clarity and certainty, that's what we're all about," Van der Zee concludes.
