From March 19 to 21, 2024, Aqua Nederland returns to Evenementenhal Gorinchem, where the GWW sector can network with other water professionals under the inspiring theme "Working Together on Water. This leading event brings together more than 6,500 visitors, 320 exhibitors and 70 experts from a broad knowledge program. Aqua Netherlands promises to offer an exciting combination of innovation, collaboration and knowledge sharing focused on the current challenges within wastewater, process water, drinking water and urban water & sewer management.
The upper floor, Next Level, serves as a platform for knowledge suppliers, engineering and consulting firms, educators and specific vendors focused on climate and urban water. A revamped Start-up and Innovation Pavilion will be introduced here in partnership with Water Alliance, along with IKN Street Foundation, knowledge theaters, Vacancy Plaza and conference rooms. The first floor will continue to traditionally serve as a marketplace for new products and services within the water sector.
Next Level features audience-focused theaters that provide in-depth content on various water chains. The Urban Water Theater covers current topics such as sewer management, asset management, predictive maintenance, circularity and the climate-adaptive street, focusing on the need for collaboration between municipalities, water boards, businesses and citizens. In addition, the Water Theater welcomes specific audiences on different days, including Process Water Tuesday, Water Board Wednesday and Drinking Water Thursday.
The Urban Water Theater provides a stage for parties such as SmartCity-IoT, with a session on 'Smart water management and climate adaptation', GeoZICHT B.V, which takes the listener into 'Asset management of the 21st century' and KWR Water Research Institute with a session on 'No green without blue, the changing role of water in the city'. ACO BV inspires with a story on 'Together we restore the local water cycle' and TAUW gives practical examples with the session 'Demonstrably sustainable'. GEP Watermanagement B.V talks about 'Rainwater as a source of water and energy' and Circospin B.V presents the 'Practical connection in circular pumping stations'. The full program can be viewed online.
In cooperation with Water Alliance, innovations and start-ups will be given a prominent place at the Start-up and Innovation Pavilion at Next Level. Several companies will present their groundbreaking solutions for the water industry here. For example, Xylem Vue powered by GoAigua integrates data independently from all existing tools and technologies and makes that information available to the entire organization with a real-time overview of the status of all processes and infrastructure. Eyewings BV will present at the pavilion The Aquasurveyor. This is an innovative survey boat, operated manually or via the cloud by one man and equipped with numerous sonars, sensors and cameras for mapping waterways, such as depths, water quality and 360 recordings stored directly in the cloud.
In addition, Blue Earth Innovations, Purgatoria, Waterschot and Care4H2O are also represented at the Pavilion. André Mepschen, Business Developer at Water Alliance, emphasizes the importance of innovation: "Without innovation, one stands still and stagnation is decline."
