Your role
As a Project Engineer at BUKO, you are the key player within our Integral Works department. You will assist road authorities in drawing up specification drawings, support our regional colleagues and customers with tenders, and work with the branches on realization plans to ensure the successful execution of (traffic) technical infrastructure projects. You know how to turn your technical knowledge into practical and efficient solutions, thus making an important contribution to BUKO's continuous growth.
In this role, you will work daily with programs such as AutoCAD Civil 3D and CorelDRAW, where you will be responsible for technical elaborations, justifications and the visual presentation of measures. You work according to CROW guidelines and legislation, and know how to visualize the most complex traffic flows and phasing effortlessly. Whether you are working on large traffic engineering drawings or creating a “comic book” in which design and engineering come together, your work ensures that traffic flow is guaranteed in every phase, always with a focus on the most economically advantageous solutions.
You will work closely with our own tender teams and those of our clients to come up with innovative and smart traffic solutions for major infrastructure projects. You will puzzle with traffic phasing and seek the optimal balance between productivity, safety and traffic flow. You will work with experienced colleagues and go along to clients to demonstrate your expertise and growth.

In this position, you will work closely with tender managers, project managers, traffic engineers and subcontractors. You will perform technical analyses, direct third parties when necessary, and always stay abreast of the latest technologies and trends in the engineering sector. When technical problems arise, you will be the point of contact and make sure everything runs smoothly.
