Van Kaam Materieel has been a partner of George Fischer Piping Systems for many years and has recently taken on the full range of PlastItalia as the exclusive distributor for the Benelux countries and northern France. "As a partner of George Fischer, we sell, rent and service the whole palette," says Van Kaam. "The range varies from welding machines and workshop machines to all infra-related tools such as first-class pipe cutters, mechanical peelers, (circular pressure) clamping and alignment tools and much, much more. Special peelers certified to NTA 8828 are also part of the range, ranging in size from 75 mm to 710 mm." Specifically for George Fischer's welding machines, Van Kaam Materieel also provides in-house maintenance and calibration if required.
New for Van Kaam Materieel is the dealership with PlastItalia. "The IPlast welding boxes are specifically designed to make the welding of pipes and fittings for the medium of water, sewer, hydrogen or gas more reliable and safe," says Van Kaam. "PlastItalia's latest range of HDPE electrofusion welding machines are designed to control the entire welding process and eliminate all risks associated with the welding process. We sell and rent the complete range of IPlast welding machines. We also provide maintenance and calibration of these welding cabinets. Previously this was done at the service point in Sicily, but since recently we simply provide this from our own facility in Zaandam. This extra service means that users only have to miss their welding cabinet for a few days instead of several weeks. Of course, the maintenance is performed in accordance with factory standards and delivered with an official certificate on behalf of Van Kaam Materieel."
