The Amsterdam-based architecture firm NEXT Architects has been working for more than twenty-five years on a wide range of projects throughout the Netherlands: from schools and housing to transformation projects and infrastructure. It is precisely this infrastructure that forms an important pillar within the firm. The infrastructure team is involved in both the planning phase and the execution, and works closely with contractors, landscape architects and clients. In a time frame of just two weeks, the grass concrete tiles on both sides of the new 2-kilometer-long service road were installed with extreme precision. This kind of work is no exception for the company that specializes in installing grass concrete tiles. In fact, Grondverzet Richard Palmen has recently acquired a unique self-propelled road widener that will also come in handy later on this project.
