In infrastructure projects, the greatest challenge often lies not in new construction, but in the moment when old and new meet. Such is the case with the widening of the A2 motorway between the Het Vonderen and Kerensheide interchanges. Existing technical installations must continue to function, while at the same time modern techniques are introduced in phases. The continuous synergy between old and new systems requires direction and a deep understanding of how both worlds interact. Mijnsen understands this like no other.

At two strategic locations - at Mebin Born and at the Roosteren exit - Kok Lexmond is working on crushing concrete rubble and producing specific asphalt products, mostly from the A2 motorway. This makes the company an important link in the circular processing of building materials in the project.

Behind the packed exhibition tracks of InfraTech Germany 2026 was a solid program of content. In Essen, the focus was not only on new solutions for infrastructure, but above all on the policy issues that will set the agenda in the coming years.
