Your place or mine: Flexible engineering solutions

Contractors and clients facing capacity problems on construction and infrastructure projects can call on Multi.Engineering. "We can provide ad hoc solutions by seconding engineers or taking over (part of) the engineering tasks," says Bart Peirs of Multi.Engineering. "During InfraTech 2019, we presented our services to the public and also give a sneak peek."

Multi.Engineering is originally a Belgian family business and has been active in the market since 1996. "In the meantime, we have grown into an international company with 300 employees, of which  270 engineers are effectively working on projects. Not only in the construction and infrastructure sector, but also on industrial, maritime and offshore projects from four offices in the Netherlands - Breda, Vlissingen, Amsterdam and Delft - we cover the Dutch market. At InfraTech we want to inform visitors about the added value we can offer on (large) construction and infrastructure projects for both contractors and clients."

Peirs: "The focus of our cooperation is on speed, transparency and flexibility. By the latter, we mean in any case avoiding standard solutions, but rather a project-specific approach in which we look beyond the obvious paths." Visitors to the booth during InfraTech 2019 will also be granted a sneak peek. "Multi.Engineering, by the way, deliberately places employee satisfaction and customer satisfaction strategically central," Peirs outlines. "This is what we stand for. To get a taste of this, free engineering hours are up for grabs at the Mulit.Engineering booth. We also show visitors which projects we are involved in in the Netherlands. Surely one of our biggest assignments was the North-South Line, for which we have fulfilled numerous tasks, from cost control and process guidance to setting up a document management system and performing project management. Currently we are involved in the construction of the sea lock in IJmuiden and the RijnlandRoute, among others. So, as mentioned, we focus on the larger projects. In addition to the core values mentioned, we also distinguish ourselves with a specific sales and recruitment apparatus with our own engineers who, because of their background, can understand our clients better."
