In 2019, the Land Registry changed the way KLIC files are delivered. The new delivery created a challenge for contractors and municipalities. They have to start processing the data differently to achieve the same result.
The KlicConverter is an online service that easily converts the Land Registry's standard KLIC notification to CAD or GIS files. This therefore allows the user to quickly and easily work with the data from the KLIC notification in programs such as AutoCAD, QGiS and ArcGIS. This already makes processing a lot easier.
The conversion has been made as simple as possible. So without additional software but in a web interface. This web interface has a unique URL so the user does not have to log in and the URL can be shared with colleagues who also regularly do KLIC reports. Performing the conversion is a matter of uploading the Land Registry ZIP file and clicking convert. Once the conversion is complete, the result can be downloaded as DWG or GeoPackage.
With the KlicConverter, you don't have an expensive service subscription; you buy 100, 200 or 500 conversions. The cost depends on the conversion result. Of course, there is a nice tiered rate when you purchase more conversions. Prices range from 38 to a maximum of 75 cents per conversion.
