Stronger lifting hook for Engcons (second largest) rotary tilt EC226 - approved for 8 tons

"This upgrade could be realized thanks to an improved upper part, with stronger side plates," says Göran Kron, constructor at Engcon. Besides the fact that the stronger lifting hook can handle three tons more than the previous version, the diameter of the hook is also larger.

The lifting hook accommodates stronger chains or lifting loops. Göran Kron: "That was a wish because some operators use quite thick lifting loops for heavy lifting." The new, strong lifting hook has CE approval, as do all the other lifting hooks Engcon mounts on its turntables.

The upgrade is effective immediately. The 8-ton capable lifting hook is already in production. It will become the standard on the EC226 rotary tilt attachments for direct mounting.
