ORANJEGROEP supplies additional skilled workers to almost all major infrastructure projects in our country. These are mostly technical personnel in executive positions. Real hands-on workers who are not afraid to roll up their sleeves, such as scaffold builders, concrete carpenters, welders and assistant supervisors.
With a workforce of around two thousand people, ORANJEGROEP is a renowned name in the staffing industry. "We provide our services in various sectors, from construction and infra and industry to petrochemicals and the food sector," said Olivier Schreiner, operational director at ORANJEGROEP. "In doing so, we follow the 4-phase system of the NBBU, the trade association of intermediaries in the labor market, and can count ourselves fortunate to have quite a mature population."
The playing field of ORANJEGROEP, part of Home of Crafters since May 2024, is all of Europe. "From our own offices in Poland, Romania, Spain and Croatia, we recruit suitable candidates," says Bert Serneels, senior key account manager at ORANJEGROEP. "There are always projects being completed in those countries that make experienced people available. We often bring full teams over this way. They know each other through and through and are well attuned to each other. We then deploy these experienced technicians on projects mainly in the Netherlands and Belgium, although we notice that the demand for skilled workers abroad is also growing. For example, we have recently carried out projects in Sweden and Finland, and even made a trip to the Bahamas."
In the Netherlands, ORANJEGROEP has a group of satisfied clients. "We just started on the A10 at the De Nieuwe Meer interchange with an experienced club of concrete carpenters. That is directly also our core business, recruiting and deploying concrete carpenters on infrastructure projects," says Serneels. "Meanwhile, we are active for FCC in the widening of the A9 with about 40 men. Furthermore, a small group is still running on the Terneuzen Lock and our people are also still present on the Afsluitdijk. We have just completed project A16 De Groene Boog and the A24 Blankenburg connection, as well as the RijnlandRoute, to which our people made a fine contribution. And for a project on the Maasvlakte we are currently supplying a large French contractor with concrete carpenters and braiders."
We are quite adept at what we do, Schreiner says. "We have a lot of experience and speak our clients' language. ORANJEGROEP is PAY-OK certified. We always think along to find a suitable solution. Moreover, all our temporary workers are supervised by people who have done that work in the past. They are knowledgeable and know what they are talking about. We also provide comfortable SNF-certified housing, should the need arise. In doing so, we try to station our people as close to a project as possible, with a maximum of four people in a home and all having their own room. That way they start a new working day fresh. Every single day. Not only do our people like to tackle things, so do we as ORANJEGROUP."
