Meet the training company for civil engineering in the north and east of the Netherlands

Do you want to create something beautiful together with a team and learn the tricks of the trade from real professionals? Then InfraVak is the training company for civil engineering in the north and east of the Netherlands.

An interview with Kim Wever of InfraVak, about what InfraVak can do for both apprentices and training companies. "Good professionals are becoming increasingly scarce, also in the civil engineering sector. This is partly due to the aging population and that is why we are so pleased with new initiatives in which technical education can be further developed and with which you can respond to the regional labor market. InfraVak connects training companies, ROCs and students and ensures optimal cooperation. Through us and an ROC, the new upcoming professionals can combine working and learning within a BBL training program."

Do you want to learn the tricks of the trade?

InfraVak offers various courses within the civil engineering sector. Wever: "You learn the tricks of the trade at one of the training companies in your area, where you work an average of four days a week under the guidance of an experienced mentor. In addition, you will attend an ROC in your area one day a week. Think of us as your employer, who pays your salary and studies and accompanies you throughout the entire process, from registration to diploma."

Are you that apprenticeship company that wants to build for the future?

"We also have an important task for the training companies: we relieve them in terms of recruitment, conduct intake interviews and make the match between the training company and the apprentice. Our goal: sufficient influx of new future professionals, most of whom can start work in the training company where they received their training," concludes Wever.
