Ampliar has been helping candidates with a distance to the labor market find jobs since 1995. The temporary employment agency with a social heart has traditionally had a strong focus on the construction and infrastructure sector and helps companies fulfill the SROI obligation. And they do so in their own unique way.
An organization with national coverage, Ampliar helps some 500 candidates with a distance to the labor market find jobs every year. "We are far from being a regular employment agency," stresses Nordin Elaoudi, project supervisor for the Rijnmond region. "We have a big social heart and go very far for our candidates in this. We not only recruit candidates, but remove all restrictions for them to get and stay quietly at work. What we often hear back is that they no longer want to leave us. And surely that is the greatest compliment of all. Although we do have the intention of helping candidates get permanent jobs with our clients."
Ampliar's strength also lies in its national coverage. "Our organization is divided into regions, so we have an up-to-date view of local regulations," says Annemieke van der Laan, Rijnmond regional manager at Ampliar. "The Rijnmond region is a vast area and stretches from Rotterdam to Nijmegen. It is a region with a great diversity of nationalities and cultures. That also makes it so fascinating. And the great thing is, we help everyone looking for work find a job. Even for people with Wajong benefits there are absolutely opportunities and that also applies to people over 60. We think along in a positive way and provide appropriate guidance so that people can get to work with peace of mind."
Elaoudi also feels like a fish out of water in the Rijnmond region. "We maintain fine contacts with external partners and often have great conversations with candidates. You just see them blossom. That also makes me happy." By the way, Ampliar takes taking candidates by the hand quite literally. "If we have introduced a candidate to a client, we always go along to the first interview. Apart from the candidate himself, it is also appreciated by the client. After all, for both there is a familiar face present. That just works very pleasant. Moreover, we also provide the necessary training and education, should that be required. If VCA is a requirement, we arrange that. But we also offer courses and further training so that candidates can specialize further."
From the Rijnmond region, Ampliar has been making a major contribution to the Green Arch since 2020 to meet the SROI obligation. "It is a substantial project in our region where our candidates currently hold various positions ranging from a janitor and a doorman to a cleaner and a financial employee," says Van der Laan. "We also second a foreman who shuttles construction personnel back and forth across the project in a van. Furthermore, we are currently helping BAM with the SROI obligation on the Argonautenweg and we are much active for new construction and renovation projects of housing corporations in the region. And of course we do many other projects in the Rijnmond region. Preferably we place our candidates close to the neighborhood, so that they are always reminded of the positive contribution they have made to society."
