With the online portal MYRIX, Fundex makes all machine data now also real-time insight for its customers. In addition, all pole data is also visible in the portal and the entire history of the machine is kept through a service ticket system. All documentation is also visible up to date. As if that were not enough, pile plans can also be loaded into MYRIX, so that all production details are also visible in real time.
"Ten years ago we started logging data from our foundation machines, so that we as a manufacturer could diagnose possible problems very quickly," begins Anton Hectors of Fundex. "We noticed that there was also an increasing demand from our customers for insightful data, including for quality control, maintenance intervals, pile data, documentation, you name it. Since mid-2020, we have been equipping all new foundation machines with a MYRIX modem so that data is sent automatically. If the machine is also equipped with the Fundex Data Acquisition (FDA) system, all pile data can be viewed automatically in MYRIX in addition to all machine data. Then there is also the possibility to very quickly view the properties of a newly formed pile and assess whether it is properly installed. The data can be used to prepare pile reports that are eventually delivered to the client or for internal use."
John Brakman of Fundex explains. "In the dashboard, the customer gets an overview of all Fundex machines, what the status is and where they are located. For each machine it is then possible to zoom in further in detail on the different variables, such as the status of the engine, hydraulics whether the machine is due for maintenance, and so on. In the future, MYRIX will be expanded further and further, and notifications will also be sent out when, for example, maintenance needs to be scheduled, and so on. Users can view historical data in detail. In addition, presets can be created, in case one wants to view the same variables more often. We as a manufacturer use this data for diagnosis, our customers in particular for production progress." Hectors adds: "This allows them to compare the output of machines set up on the same construction site and assess the difference in waiting times, drilling, et cetera. All with the aim of improving the efficiency of the machines."
When the machine is equipped with PPS (pile positioning system), the current pile plan can also be displayed. Brakman: "The pile plan can be loaded digitally and is updated in real-time, so that the progress of a project can also be followed in the office. In short, MYRIX combines all data in one conveniently arranged portal. MYRIX is also available as a retrofit on existing machines."
