Responding to digitization and automation

This is because the rolling in and out of the sounding line is fully automatic. The manual labor in the machine shifts to desk-based work."

Always wanting to move forward

A.P. van den Berg also follows developments in propulsion technologies. For example, she developed the world's first hybrid sounding vehicle for BAM Infra. The electric Track-Truck travels emission-free on its tracks and probing is also done electrically. "Wanting to move forward is in our roots," Woollard said. "Innovation is done proactively, often fueled by issues in the market. Where necessary, we collaborate with other companies. As a result, we have been at the forefront for 50 years, and I am convinced that we will remain so for a long time to come."
