Blood is thicker than water. This is especially true for Max Kroeze of Kroeze Funderingstechnieken. After his first company changed hands, he decided in 2015 to start his "second youth" in infra. And with success. Kroeze Funderingstechnieken recently invested in a third foundation machine, a very special one at that, from the 'stable' of Van den Heuvel Werkendam.
In a relatively short time, Kroeze Funderingstechnieken has made a name for itself in the world of foundation engineering. "We can consider ourselves fortunate to have a very loyal clientele for whom we complete the most diverse foundation issues throughout the country and sometimes even beyond," says Max Kroeze proudly. "We do this with a small and close-knit team, loyal partners and high-quality equipment. To be able to respond to future issues as well, we have invested in a new scaffold, a VDH-MP40 from Van den Heuvel Werkendam."
According to Kroeze, the VDH-MP40 is an extremely versatile machine. "Depending on which attachment is used, the machine can be used as a screw, drilling or piling machine. In any case, it enables us to make longer piles (up to 19.5 meters) than before with our existing machines. By the way, we deliberately chose Van den Heuvel Werkendam. They also built my first rack fifteen years ago and can deliver quickly at the right conditions." Marc Timmerman, owner of Van den Heuvel Werkendam: "It is quite turbulent in the world, prices are rising and there is a lot of uncertainty. In our market, on the other hand, there is hardly any restraint, companies like Kroeze Funderingstechnieken keep investing. There are plenty of interested parties for our machines."
Van den Heuvel Werkendam builds machines to customer specifications in-house. "Experiences of customers, mechanics and machine operators are very important to us and leading in the development of our machines," Timmerman emphasizes. "We work exclusively with high-quality components. Unique features include the spacious cab with lots of glass surface and many adjustment options of consoles and (air suspension) seat for maximum comfort. The MP40 is more compact than its bigger brothers, the MP60 and MP70. The basics of the MP40 are otherwise always the same, such as an economical and quiet stage V engine, pumps and undercarriage. The front, on the other hand, is completely filled out according to customer requirements. For Kroeze Funderingstechnieken, we executed the MP40 in a mortar screw configuration (CFA). A big advantage of this machine is that it can be put on transport including drill cabinet and auger."
Kroeze has high expectations for the new VDH-MP40. "With this new machine we can offer an even wider and complete range of foundation solutions to our customers. We have also recently purchased a smaller rig for driving and drilling steel tubular piles. With our state-of-the-art machinery, we guarantee a durable end result."
