No less than 7.5 kilometers of the city dikes in Zwolle needed reinforcement to meet the new requirements for water safety. The dyke reinforcement is part of the national High Water Protection Program.

In this largest dike reinforcement operation ever, the Department of Public Works and Water Boards are working together to tackle approximately 1,500 kilometers of dikes, numerous locks and pumping stations to improve water safety until the year 2050. The DCP formwork system

The DCP formwork system consists of special supports that can be easily attached to a sheet pile or combi pile. The supports can be placed in the greenhouse of the sheet-pile wall or suspended in a bracket. This makes welding unnecessary. After attaching the supports, the so-called Soffit panels can be placed on them. The Soffit panels have a standard length of 3 meters and are equipped with sliding aluminum strips. These aluminum strips accurately follow the shape of the installed sheet piling or combi piling. The formwork system can be applied to almost any type of sheet piling or variants thereof. The panels can even be used in combination with pile walls. The panels are equipped with a hand rail so that working at height and along the water is done safely. After placing the panels, which form the bottom of the formwork, the edge box can be placed. This can be done traditionally or using a system box.

In a few weeks Foundiz will have an updated version of the Beretta T21-E available. This new Beretta T21-E has received a number of updates including a tiltable mast. Where previously the mast could be removed manually, it can now be hydraulically tilted, making the T21-E even easier to transport and increasing the ease of use of this compact foundation machine. This Beretta T21-E is an electrically driven foundation machine with which micro-piles can be drilled in small spaces, among other things. Think of a diameter range of Ø 50 - 168mm with a section length of 1,200mm. In addition, the T21-E can also be perfectly used for soil drilling, sampling and, for example, placing injection pipes for soil injection techniques. Safety first!
