A growing group of foundation contractors is opting not to invest in their own grouting equipment, but to rent exactly the machine that provides productivity at the time. Inpieq - founded in 2008 by Frank van Deursen - expressly responds to this with a rental offering that revolves around compact, fully automatic grout units and smart accessories. The company also develops and supplies its own drilling and piling rigs, including the small IFD 2 for tight inner-city locations.
The IGP 150 is the rental favorite for medium-sized projects. With a pump flow of 150 liters per minute at 90 bar, it delivers exactly the power needed for continuous running. Mixing capacity is 250 liters, storage capacity 800 liters, and the machine can mix about 10 cubic meters of grout per hour. This makes the IGP 150 compact enough for busy construction sites, but powerful enough to keep working without interruptions. The advanced plunger pump guarantees a stable, peak-free flow, which ensures even injection and high daily efficiency.
For large-scale injection or micropile projects, the IGP 300 offers the desired capacity. This unit has a pump flow of 300 liters per minute at 90 bar and a mixing capacity of 500 liters. Storage ranges from 1,000 to 1,500 liters, making the IGP 300 capable of producing approximately 20 cubic meters of grout per hour. Again, the combination of fully automatic mixing and pumping with the integrated water tank ensures that crews are not dependent on external water supplies and unnecessary waiting times. Frank van Deursen sees it simply: "You lose the least amount of time if the unit is self-sufficient and the operator can start the right recipe at the push of a button. Programming ten mixtures in advance and changing in between? That saves hours over the week."
In addition to the IGP units, the rental also includes the GAC (Grout Pump Accu Compensator). This pressure accumulator flattens pressure peaks in the grout system, reducing mechanical stress on the grout pump. This extends the life of hoses and ensures a more constant outflow. The GAC 10 has a maximum volume of 10 liters and can handle up to 400 bar working pressure, while the GAC 15 offers a volume of 15 liters and is suitable up to 250 bar working pressure. The GAC is brand-independent and can be used behind any grout pump. In practice, it is often rented together with the IGP 150 or IGP 300 to keep the system stable under varying injection resistances.
Not every job requires a large rack. The IFD 2 is the smallest in-house drilling rig: compact, maneuverable and made for working in construction pits, basement areas or inner city streets where low-vibration or vibration-free work is required. The maximum drilling torque is 20 kNm and the machine can handle pipe sizes between 114 and 219 millimeters. With a transport weight of 1,980 kilograms, the IFD 2 is easily transportable. The rack is radio-controlled, can be supplied with an electrically driven hydraulic power pack and can be combined with the DLS registration system. Precisely the combination of compact size, low emission options and full data logging makes the machine interesting for foundation repair in existing buildings.
Van Deursen: "Inner-city work is all about mobility, flexibility and compact construction. That's exactly the playing field we design our machines for - and what makes the difference for our rental customers."
