Foundation specialist puts safety and quality first 

For many years, Terracon Funderingstechniek has been the specialist for large and complex foundation problems in both free and confined spaces. Hazardous substances are widely used in the foundation industry, says Bas Ploeg, director ad interim at Terracon. Together with Veidec, a plan has been made to replace these substances with products that are friendly to people and the environment." The "chemical shift" is just one aspect of Terracon's focus on safety and quality. "We operate at the very highest level of safety and are broadly certified," Bas emphasizes. "For example, at the end of last year we regained our accreditations and certifications for VCA P, ISO 9001 and the Safety Culture Ladder Step 4. In addition, we attach great value to sustainable chain cooperation. In projects, we always seek cooperation with both customers and suppliers to streamline processes even better in terms of safety and quality. Because working on safety is something you do together, Bas says. "We all face the same challenges in the industry. That is why it is important that dilemmas are discussed and dealt with collectively. Only then will we move forward. We strive for a safe working environment throughout the chain in a pleasant and equal cooperation. Foundation of Safety Culture, we call it."

Terracon specializes in virtually all types of pile systems.
